My name is Filip Biały. I am a political theorist with broad interest in ethics and politics of Artificial Intelligence. My aim is to understand the consequences of AI for democratic politics.
I am enthusiastic about collaborating in research and educational projects, as well as about supporting public institutions, businesses and NGOs in developing and implementing ethical AI policies.
My other academic interests include issues related to normative democratic theory, concepts of ideology, and political interpretations of popular culture.
- I am an assistant professor at Collegium Polonicum, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań, Poland, and a postdoctoral researcher at European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. I teach at the European New School of Digital Studies.
- In Michaelmas and Lent terms 2020/2021 I was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) in Cambridge.
- In 2019 I was a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Government, London School of Economics and Political Science.
